About This Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn
Jupiter and Saturn, the two of the biggest planets in our solar system aligned the closest to each other on December 21, resulting in a 'conjunction'. Social media platforms have been flooded with pictures and videos of the phenomena and it was even treading on Twitter.
In the once-in-a-lifetime phenomenon, Jupiter and Saturn will cross within .1 degrees of each other ( a fraction of the width of the full moon), it will look like double planet when seen from the earth
A 'Christmas star' will light up the night's sky tonight when Saturn and Jupiter come together during a great Conjunction.
When can we see the next Jupiter-Saturn Conjunction?
Jupiter passes its neighbor planet Saturn in 20 years later. The next Jupiter-Saturn Conjunction will happen on October 31, 2040,while the next super-close pairing of these two planets would be on March 15, 2080.
Timing of Great conjunction?
When we can see this 'great conjunction' it will be visible between 6.30 pm to 7.30 pm. Make sure you take your DSLR cameras or else use your mobile phone for taking this picture. Take a steady picture and upload in social media you will surely get more likes.
